COMPANY INFORMATIONS Ever since humans have been on this Earth, fishing has been in close connection with our everyday lives. There was a time when fishing only served as living, but in our days it tends to serve mostly pleasure and sports.
In comparison to the beginning of time, the tools used for fishing now have developed considerably, this process soon became powerful and expanded further in the 20th century.
By the advent of nylon fibre, fishing lines played an Important part in this dynamic renewal.
Our firm, which was founded in 1996, produces and sells polyamide copolymer technical lines, and as a family enterprise, is still unique in Central and Eastern Europe.
The profile of our firm is to produce fishing lines in great varieties of size, type and color and in different make-ups. While size ranges from 0,10 mms to 3,00 mms, make-up ranges from spools of 100 m to bulk spools of 2-3 kg.
Our firm is a member of the European Fishing Tackle Trade Association (EFTTA) from 1998.

The management of the company had drawn a special attention for carrying out any investments in every year through which the business results were grown continuously.
At the first time the enterprise began its activities with a monofilament production line, but due to the big increase in sales it was needed to install a new monofilament production line beginning with the season of the 2002.
Through many years not only the fishing line production capacity was increased by Balázs Filament Technologies Ltd. but a system being necessary to provide a proper packing for fishing line could be established too.
Two injection machine were bought for the manufacturing of plastic spools, five winding machines for the fishing lines and a packaging factory for packing boxes was built where the cutting, screen printing and gluing is also being made. Through the fact that the complete series of working phases related to assemble products is in hands of the company, its activities are made very flexible. So it can response any changes on the market rapidly and is able to produce a state-of-art quality on a competitive prices.
A guarantee for a high quality is that in the course of product development the Balázs Filament Technologies Ltd. has a close cooperation with delivery companies from Germany and Japan, through which the professional activities of the company is supported continuously. More, a close cooperation has been developed with the Technical University of Budapest too, where, beside a professional support, the control tests of monofilaments are also carried out.
Beyond a co-operation with external companies the technical parameters (diameter, tensile strength, knotted tensile strength, elongation) of monofilament fishing lines are being checked-up continuously by an own laboratory of the Balázs Filament Technologies Ltd. according the Standard ISO 2062:1993 which is applied by EFTTA too.
Having been audited by DNV our company has a qualification ISO 9001: 2000 since the year 2004.
The facts listed above and that an extraordinarily high attention is drawn by the part of staff-members of Balázs Filament Technologies Ltd. to the precise working activities, all have contributed to a situation according to which this company is being considered as one of the most reliable deliverer on the European markets at the present time. |
